Moth's Birthday is TMR

                        Today it rained again, I made cheese this morning  Moth and I sat on the couches watching Romance Killer and I had a Reese's cup with Reese's pieces. I've also drank three different kinds of root beer today.

    Yesterday Moth and I went up to Wes' Rip House yesterday, the line was Told Not To Worry, Sapona, Norfair, and Asphyixa. This was Told Not To Worry's first show since they released their split with UltraViolet came over the weekend. Told Not To Worry is on the upswing and they're such a great band to catch live. Jane and Brian are such great front people, watching them makes me feel they are having more fun than anyone in the crowd.  Sapona and Norfair came through town together during their tour, this was the third show of their East Coast trip and they both sounded tight as you'd expect from the first night of the tour. Both of these bands impressed me so much more than I thought a band from the "Mitten" State would. I feel like one day in 15 years, I will be scrolling YouTube and I will find a video of Sapona from a shitty camera, they had the violent screamo sound that I yearn to see more often. The singer and drummer played pass with the microphone the whole set and it was really great to watch. Going from YouTube to an older brother's CD drawer, Norfair had some nasty riffs. One word, FOR THE MOSHERS. Both of the bands played songs from an upcoming split that will be released when they get home from the tour. To say Norfairs' songs were brutal would be an understatement. Great vocals, devastating scream;  Olth standard. Asphyixa closed out the night, that band will always be a treat to see live, I would take too much time on them because if you've gone to any show in the area, chances are you've seen them. Amazing band, they have a song that sounds like Dragonforce.

            Tomorrow is Moth's birthday and I got them a cat stuffed animal you can put in the microwave to heat up. It's going to rain again, better than the heat.
